and the cuteness continues!

very busy w/ the two girls (wow - knew it would be exhausting, but having two dogs, one being a rambuncious 9 wk old terror, is hard work!), but wanted to post a couple pix. i do have an FO (finally!), but haven't taken a pic yet, so i'll work on that later.

the sisters are getting along pretty well...guinness is going through jealousy and annoyance at times, and has even shown some aggression when it comes to rawhide sharing, but other than that, they love to chase each other around the dining room table table at top speed (there was about 30 minutes of this last night and while it was super fun to watch dublin get chased from dog bed to dog bed (aka "Base" to base lol!), it was sooo chaotic! i even managed to get a pic of them sleeping next to each other on the couch when the chase was finally over...this is the stuff i dreamed of, folks :)

Guinness has a sister!!!

And her name is Dublin!

She's eight weeks old, born on 5/22/06, and she's a black female pug. She's just adorable and so far the sisters are being very nice to each other :) We'll take them both to the vet on Friday...can't wait to see how much the Dubster weighs...gotta be around 3lbs or less...super tiny girl!

More to come later...just needed to get her pic on here tonight for everyone to enjoy :)))

oh...my...goodness!!!!!

ok, so i need some opinions/advice...we finally got permission from our landlord to get another dog (as long as we sign another year lease...we've been going month to month since the first year was up) and now i'm full of what if's. we're meeting a breeder tomorrow to possibly adopt a lil baby girl!!! we have one pug already...fawn, Guinness, 2 1/2 yrs old...spoiled...our baby xo
do we bring a new lil girl puggy poo in the house? she's black, just over 8wks old. everything seems right, but we're new to being parents of multiples and want to know what everyone thinks.

i'll let you know if we decide to get her, but until then, give me ur 2 cents, pretty please! oh yeah, name suggestions, too...we have some ideas, but aren't set yet on anything. thanks in advance!

another post from grandma

filled the feeder yesterday (decided i would only do this on the weekends so i can actually see the birds because it only takes them part of a day to finish all of the food!!) and i kid you not...there were at least 50 birds on my porch at one point...crazy piggies! i even had a pigeon lol
couldn't get very good pics because i had to take them through the window, but i did get a couple fun ones (here's one for you, jeanne)...















and here's a couple of my bored lil puppy...pugs don't do well in the heat, so she's been kind of miserable looking all weekend :(

woohoo and UGH...all at the same time

ok, the woohoo is because I PASSED MY TEST! no more of these for a while, i hope...super excited about that!

and the UGH is because this morning was my surgery and it went fine, except that i had a bad reaction to the anestheasia and was getting sick from the moment i came out of it, everytime i moved lol. still feeling a little "drunk/hungover" tonight, but it's getting better i guess. my fabulous hubby came home from work early and was waiting for me at home when my mom dropped me off, ready to be at my beck and call ;) he's been a great man-nurse and is currently making some jello because the mashed potatoes and corn he picked up, per my request, prooved to be a little problematic in my mouth lol. anyway, i'm really happy that he's here to take care of me and i'm very hopeful that i'll be feeling better tomorrow. so far i'm good w/ ibuprofen instead of the vicoden they sent me home w/...hoping i can keep it that way cuz i'm sure that stuff won't make me feel too great ;) anyway, here's a pic of the culprit (complete w/ evidence of two fillings and two root canals...nasty lil bugger), in case ur as fascinated by that stuff as i am lol...i call this pic "dancing legs" haha

the suspense just might kill me

took another test today at work and they were too busy to grade them, so i have to wait until tomorrow to find out if i passed...what kind of crap is that?!

not sure how i did, but i'm just glad it's over. i will post again when i know, but i just wanted to throw this in, mostly just in an attempt to give my blog more daily attention, but also in case anyone was wondering.

please keep ur fingers crossed for me and if ur out there knitting - keep it up! i am working on a secret project right now, slowly but surely : )

ps - happy happy birthday to my soon to be brother in law, eddie...just got back from a fabbbbbb dinner at red lobster where i enjoyed some tasty scallops, shrimp scampi and crab and seafood stuffed flounder...not to mention a few too many cheddar bay biscuits aka garlic cheese biscuits...mmmm!!! anyway, eddie turned 25 today and i'm so glad i got to share in his fun bday din din :))) xo

...i passed that big test at work on the 23rd!
and i have another coming up this wednesday, but it's a different kind of test and i can't say i'm all that confident (or caring much) that i'll pass lol
just thought i'd let ya'll know that i at least passed one of them!!
and i rewarded myself by going to see the play Wicked...for the second time in one weekend! i saw it friday night w/ tickets that my sis and her hubby-to-be and i got on ebay...paid extra to get three tickets together and they were way up in the balcony. i loved it so much that i went online the next day and found the last ticket available for the cleveland production and saw it again by myself on sunday - it was wickedly fabulous and i would suggest that if anyone gets the chance, they should DEFINITELY go see this play!!!

so, i feel like there's an unwritten rule to this blogging world that says if u have a knitting blog, u should definitely include some knitting content in ur entries...guess that's why i haven't posted in forever. not having time to knit SUCKS! : ( i am working on a few projects, but nothing productive is really happening with any of them, so i keep clicking on my blog thinking "wow, u haven't posted in a long time" and then i realize that i have no knitting news...and then i'm sad lol

in other news...summer has been hectic so far...having fun going out, but also spending a lot of time on the couch/in bed w/ a bad back (yes, just call me grandma...i'm 28, i knit, i have a birdfeeder {or two} on my porch AND i have a bad back lol), so that kind of puts a damper on things. also, wish me luck...i have to have a tooth pulled next friday and the oral surgeon says i have to be put under for it, so i'm HELLA NERVOUS : / i've never been put under and i'm realllllly not looking forward to it.

anyway, that's about it for now. sorry for the lack of real content and hopefully i'll feel inspired and have time to start knitting seriously again real soon! until then, knitwitgirly OUT!
